Help Junior Achievement create a healthy financial future for our kids in Washington with your participation in the 2012 Bowling Classic! The goal is to raise $640,000 across Washington this year. Together we can make this happen!
Junior Achievement empowers young people to own their economic success. JA's volunteer-delivered, K-12 programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire kids to dream big and reach their potential.
With JA Stars are born. JA is a dynamic, non-profit organization that provides an opportunity for kids from Kindergarten - 12th grade to learn the value of the free enterprise system in order to obtain goals and improve their lives. JA recruits volunteers who are positive role models from the business community who are trained to present the JA curriculum in the classroom. Your donation will help make a difference in these young people's future. Junior Achievement educates and inspires young people to value free enterprise, business, and economics to improve the quality of their lives. JA of Washington serves the geographic area of Western Washington and the Tri-cities and was established in 1953. Every year JA of Washington touches the lives of more and more students. In 2011, JA impacted 150,000 studenta. This marks a dramatic increase from 20,000 students in 1990. Junior Achievement will reach more than 175,000 kindergarten through twelfth-grade students in the 2011-2012 school year. More than 2,400 teachers in 75 area school districts will integrate Junior Achievement programs into their classrooms. Please Help Support JA.
